This time of the year

Its time to be blogging about new year resolutions again. I shall wrap up 2006 with a mighty long post.

Early 2006, I was with Stan Chart till mid March. That was where I met people and experience things that changed my life. I had no previous work experience, I was seriously lost. But my line manager and all my colleagues were so patient and helpful. I have indeed learnt so much from them. They made my first real job so much easier when i thought it was gonna be a nightmare. And I really have to thank my manager who encouraged me to try my hands on all sorts of things. There was this sudoku contest where I almost won the book voucher and then there was the scholarship. He was the one who came across the application form and told me to give it a try, let me use his fax machine and phone a gazzilion times to get in touch with the university and let me take a day off to go for the interview. He has helped me so much to get to where I am now. Mind u, he's an old man, kind, wise old man. A police officer who took early retirement and ventured into financial crime investigating. Mr. Koe, I thank you so very much for everything and I wish you all the best with your new business.

After quitting the job, I had to wait till July for my classes to start, so I tried working at a retail store, which turned out to be reli exhausting. It was a reli different job compared to what I did at the office, where i had to deal with ALL sorts of customers, and I'm telling u, its not easy AT ALL. And I met one of the nicest people on the globe, Sin Lin. Both of us did not last very long at the retail store coz it was a really demanding job, both physically and mentally. And so, my mum suggested that I stayed home and enjoying the remaining days of my very very long holiday.

When uni started, there was the whole transportation problem where I had to take 4 different busses to get to campus. Thankfully I met Garrett and Faidah and my problem was solved. Thanx a lot guys! Classes was not at all bad. In fact, it was fun and I like what I was and will be doing in the future. I tried singing by joining the university choir. I was not the best singer, nowhere close either, but I made a lot of friends and had lotsa fun performing. As for next semester, I will be trying something new but have yet to decide la.

To the most recent bunch of people in my life, the Aquarians, you guys have been so warm and welcoming. I had so much fun working with u guys. I learnt and experienced so much. How many poeple can actually say they've touched a shark? Or fed a wallaby? Or carried a skunk? I am looking forward to more fun stuffs next year. I regretted turning down the offer to dive, and hopefully will be able to do it next year as well. To the guy who left without a word, I demand an explaination!!

It has been a supercalifragilisticexpialidocius year. I have my wonderful mummy, grandma and Chris to thank for all their love. Thanx for worrying for me. I like the attention tee hee. And to all who have brought laughter and joy into my life I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To those who tried to make my life a living hell I thank you too. You made me realise that whatever that doesn't kill me will only make me stronger.

Lastly i thank You Lord for this day and the blessings that You've given me. Thank You for watching over the ones I love and keeping them in Your care.
I manage to accomplish some of my new year resolutions from last year which was mostly unimportant haha. I gained more than what I bargained for, so I'm happy. As for 2007, I will continue to learn and try my hands on lotsa different kind of things and study as hard as I play.
2007 will be another great, great year becase I said so.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Randomness

Just wanna say thanx to the gang at Aquaria for the birthday party guys. It was mighty fun. Was reli weird celebrating birthday and walking around KLCC at 11 midnite, but yea, I don't mind doing it again next year. Celebrated my birthday for the second time at Stan Chart this year. Manager bought a cake for the 3 birthday girls. Thank you Esther!! Back at home mummy and grandma made glutinous rice ball with peanut and brown sugar fillings for 3 days in a row.. yummyness. Thanx to all u peeps for your messages and smses from all around the globe.
And lastly to Chris, thank you for your prezzie and Happy Birthday to u too!!

Guilt haunts

I feel terrible for having to trouble my mummy just because I am moving out. This is the 1000396th post about me moving out and I have seriously lost interest in writing bout it. But I reli need to get this out.

Things mummy have done:

1) Sew curtains for my room. Its light blue in colour.

2) Sew purple bedsheets and pillow cases to match the curtain.

3) Wash all soft toys and some not so soft ones.

4) Fix all buttons and zippers of pants and shirt just in case any of em decides to bully me when I'm away from home.

5) Prepare everything from toiletries, kitchenware, furnitures, even my beauty products. Buy, wash, and clean the dusty ones.

6) Bought extra towels, underwears (too much detail!!) and everything extra. Mummy said, just in case i ever run out of stock. I've never seen so many bottles of shampoo and conditioner stocked up in my closet before.

7) Made a list of foodstuff that she have to get from the market every weekend. List includes all can food found in the minimarket, maggi mee in every flavour, and fruits with vitamins A to Z.

8) Yet to happen. But its just a matter of time before she figures something out and start sewing again.
She just wanna make sure my place at Cyber will be all homely and stuff.
I felt so bad. I was being indecisive about moving again. But my grandma told me that since I've decided on it earlier, and after all the trouble I put my mummy into, I should just go for it and give it a try. I need to grow up. I seriously do. I'll miss home but I will survive. Yes I will. Thank you mummy

-DECEMBER-
Our favourite month of the year

My plan of celebrating our double birthday (me and Chris' ) just went down the drain. This is gonna be a long, busy month. So much to do, so little time.
I'll be moving to Cyberjaya end of this month. So I went shopping with mummy and my aunt yesterday to get some storage boxes, electrical appliances and some other tiny mini stuffs. Even after buying what seemed like a hell lot of things, I still kinda feel something's missing. Mummy said I'm worrying too much. Will have to go shopping again after I move in, if I still need anything. OMG...hole in my pocket la.
Lucky me, my uncle offer to get me a van from his work place to help me move, so no need to sewa lorry.
Thankfully, I still have my job at Aquaria to pay for my own stuffs. I feel terrible having to ask mummy to pay for everything. I'm turning 20 in 3 week's time and it's time for me to learn to pay for my own stuffs. It was actually kind fun when I had to pay for my own rent deposit. It feels as though I've accomplished something huge..hehe.
I was offered a job at the bank again. This time under consumer banking (finance), which means, I'm gonna get to learn a hell lot of banking stuffs again. Didn't like it the last time when I was at financial crime. But at the end of the day, I realised its not so bad afterall. So yea, I'm gonna be working the whole of December, Monday to Friday at the bank and weekends with Aquaria. Money coming in!! *Ka-Ching*
I'm gonna have to give up the double birthday clebration plan. Sad, sad. We only turn 20 once in a lifetime. But job opportunities like that doesn't come around very often either. Sucky when I have to make decisions like that. Bleh....

All the world is waiting for the sun
-Inspired by Breaking Benjamin and Mother Nature-

Before I start, I will have to solve some miscommuniation problem. When I blog, I don't blog about anyone in specific. Therefore when I say friends, please don't think I am bloging about a certain someone. When I say friends bite, I don't mean it literally. They hurt my feelings once in a while when they "poke" me from the back. But I have learnt over the past few years to forgive and forget because getting angry and staying angry over a long period of time is a waste of energy. I have also learnt that friends that gossip with me will one day gossip about me. So what the heck. Backstabbers will always be around. And if you have not talk about me behind my back I thank you but you have and you think my previous post was about you..I'm glad I made you realise. I really appreciate my friends and if you have a problem with me, come tell it to my face. You know I don't have a problem with that.

I shall not continue to spoil this wonderful day. Went house hunting at Cyberia today. Its good to be back at Cyberjaya after one whole week. I think I am starting to like that place a lot more than I used to. I have made a decision that will make my family and my boy happy. My initial plan was to move in with a bunch of classmates into one of the townhouses in Cyberia. There will be 3 guys (Lawrence, Joachim and Garrett) and 2 girls (Me and Shidah) in the house. I know...you are probably wondering wat in the friggin world was I thinking?? My parents and my grandma was ok with it. They kinda trust me, i guess. But my boy was obviously not happy with it. Thankfully, 2 days ago, just as I was banging my head against the wall trying to make up my mind, Geik Chu smsed to ask if I wanna be her roommate. A condo unit at Cyberia as well with 2 other girls from Vietnam. She totally saved my ass. My parents were happy that I finally manage to find a cheaper place with no boys. And my boy was obviously relieved. And thanx Joachim for your advice.

Went to take a look at the townhouse today anyway. Small but cosy. But kinda messed up at the time being coz a few MMU guys are still occupying it.

This is how it looks like on the outside.

Will go look at Geik Chu's place next week. But well, its kinda decided that I'll be staying with her. Everyone will be happy..mummy, grandma and my boy and Geik Chu said she was glad I agreed to stay with her.

This is the condo that I'll be staying in. Block B2. Come knock on my door if you need anything okie. I forgot to take a picture of the swimming pool. There are about 4 pools in Cyberia. Coolness...

And since I made a pretty wise decision, my boy took me out for dinner at Secret Recipe.

Good food makes us happy. At the end of the day, I made everyone happy including myself. So if I die now, I'll go to heaven rite?

Smiles and rain

I have so much to write about I don't know where to start hehe.
Lets start with today:
Last day of finals also the last day of the semester. Sat for web tech's theory and practical paper today. Was the easiest paper out of all 5 modules. The rest was friggin tough.

Yesterday:
Two of the toughest paper on the same day. Which explains the amount of cheating in class. Well, actually there were only 3 of em and if they happen to be your friends, do you tell? Do you just keep quiet because they are your friends? You stayed up all night preparing for it and all they had to do was cheat. Fair? Not to mention the headache I had while sitting for the paper and the amount of zits popping up due to lack of sleep and the list can go on and on if I want to.
p/s: At the end of the day, i didn't tell the lecturer bout it coz somebody already did.

The day before:
Business Communication, one of the crappiest, suckiest paper. It was a morning paper, raining, darn good time to be sleeping. That was not the reason why the paper was sucky. We completed this module last month and our lecturer left for China after that. So for one whole entire month we were busy with the other 4 modules especially with submission and presentation week, we forgot all about this one.

I've done my very best in each and every paper. No regrets. So yea, one whole semester has come and gone. Its end of year again. Time flies.
What have I learnt from this short but memorable semester?
1. NEVER do your work last minute. Why is it so hard to knock that into my head?
2. NEVER overestimate anyone.
3. The first impression is ALWAYS wrong.
4. Friends have teeth and they bite, occasionaly. They are nice when left undisturbed.

What I'll do to make next semester a more enjoyable, less strssful one.
Move to Cyberjaya!! Yes, you heard me right. Mummy's girl, Princess Sze Mun is moving out of the house.
No more long hours of travelling to and fro. No more motion-sickness. No more late for class. And I won't be all tired at the end of the day, therefore more time for studying and assignments and less time for tantrums throwing.

But moving out the house will also mean:
No more grandma's cooking resulting in constipation coz only MY grandma can make veggies taste good. No more extra allowance. And no more 3-times-a-week visits to Bukit Jalil for junk food at pasar malam. I'll have to do my own launry, dishes, keep my room locked all the time coz I'm paranoid and if stuffs go missing, I'll go berserk.

I don't wanna move!! But I have to. And my boy Chris is not happy. I totally geddit, no worries Bukit Jalil is just 45 minutes away (double the distance between Bukit Jalil and Ampang, now you know how far Cyberjaya is). You can come visit me if you want. I'll still pay you visits, I promise.

Lastly, it's holiday!! Another reason to be happy about. Another money-making opportunity. I won't be going back to Standard Chartered coz they only have vacancies under Data Entry so I'll be spending my 2 months holiday with my Aquaria family. *Ka-ching* I can hear money flowing in already.

What a week
So it was deeparaya last week, also my holiday week or rather study week and our last week to prepare for our presentation. Guess wat?? I did none of the above. Ok fine, I did celebrated Deepavali and Hari Raya with my Aquaria family and went to Faidah's place for an awesome Hari Raya dinner but that was it!! No studying, no preparing for presentation. I was sick for the whole entire freaking week. The Hari Raya dinner was my last "real" meal. My mummy won't let me eat anything but bread, porridge and milo. And the amount of medicine that I've been taking is really driving me up the wall.

I hate going to the doctor for two reasons:
1. She prescribed me panadol or dynamol or watever it is for fever and charge my mummy 50 bucks for it.
2. She prescribed me a load full of useless medicine, and taking it for 2 days is enough to give me this weird mood swing and I don't like the mood swing that I'm having because it feels like all the energy is being drained out of me and I don't feel like doing anything but lie in bed all day.

I hate lying in bed doing nothing mainly because I know guilt will come haunt me, knocking me on the head telling me I've just made up an excuse to be lazy.
So today I decided to not be lazy, got out of bed and prepared for my advertising presentation.
It's not such a bad week afterall, except for the whole getting sick part. Had a high school reunion two days back and it was mighty fun meeting up with the girls again.
For now, I just wanna get well fast so I can go do whatever I'm suppose to do and you stupid fever, give me back my energy!!

*cough cough*

Sze Mun was absent from advertising class today because:
1. This weird fever came attacking her yesterday night.
2. She can't seem to stop coughing all of a sudden
3. and causes her throat to sore like nobody's business
4. and lastly, she just has an itchy backside and felt like going for a swim on a hazy day.
So, I woke up at 10 with a blocked nose, still coughing away and decided for real that I'm not going for class. And Chris encouragingly reminded me that it was only a 2 hours class. Weeee so we went swimming in the afternoon and for once the sun was not blazing hot. By 1 we were already dead tired and bored of swimming and I said lets go for class since advert only starts at 2. But suddenly I remembered I have nothing with me. No notebook, no pen, nothing. So we went ps2ing instead. And in the evening we went shopping and it's a record!! I bought 2 bags in a week's time. Lucky thing they were having sales or my mummy would've slaughter me especially after that bag I bought from m)phosis yesterday. Overall it was a good day out, but the haze had to spoil it in the end by giving me a stupid headache. Darn haze!! And I'm feeling guilty for missing advert today! Great, now that I've pontenged, I will not be blessed with full marks for my finals!! *Sobz*

New Skin

New Skin

New skin for my blog I mean. You see, I have been browsing around for a new blog skin for quite some time and have yet to find a suitable one. The problem with my skin is...the background is WHITE!! Yea, so what so big deal about white background? Bacause of the white background, I can only use dark fonts and dark fonts are boring. And if I ever decide to use light coloured fonts, this particular colour-blind friend of mine, Chris will have problem reading. So fine, background colour decided- black.

Now, lets talk about the layout. The main reason why blog existed was to allow bloggers to post entries, right? And just look at the entries column of my layout. Its narrow and it has an individual scroll bar on its own. And this is exactly what Mr. Eric, my web tech lecturer mean by a crappy site. So I went browsing around blogskins for a skin with a HUGE column for my posts and I found NONE. Most skins were created with mighty huge graphics as the header and a navigation bar which takes up 3 quarter of the whole page and left with this tiny column for entries. What the hell??

So fine, I thought to myself. Now that I have been taught how to use Dreamweaver I might as well come up with a skin of my own since I'm ever so picky. Just when I was about to start on that, it had to hit me that I have ths major important web tech assignment to do!! And so I decided to pick the next skin I see on blogskin and poof! There u go, a brand new skin. The graphics still take up half the page but heck, I'll just use it while I continue hunting for a better one.

Friday the 13th

Can't resist posting an entry on Friday the 13th, not like I'm superstitious or anything, just for the fun of it. So I had no class yesterday and as usual took my grandma to the hospital for a routine check-up. And as usual, we had to get to the hospital by cab. So we waited at this junction just outside the house and AS USUAL i wouldn't let my grandma carry her own little black bag that she use to carry her thermos flask, but yesterday she insisted on carrying it herself so fine. And AS USUAL I kept my eyes wide open for suspicious looking motorcyclist coz of the whole lot of snatch theft incidents round the neighbourhood and it was my "lucky" day. I almost became a victim.

The guy was initially aiming at my grandma's cute lil bag but i manage to grab it away from my grandma. And his motorcycle was inches away from hitting my grandma. !$^&^^#*%$#@ He refuse to give up and came for my sling bag instead. And me being ever so smart climbed over the barricade and jumped across this reli huge drain. The option was to jump and risk falling into the drain or to let him grab my sling bag and drag me along with his motorcycle. This is such a f***ed up world la!! Pardon my language but this is exactly how I feel each time the incident crosses my mind.

And it's not the first time this kind of crap has happened to someone close to me. My first encounter with these snatcher idiots was when I was walking from school to the LRT station with Mei Kuan. She was on the phone when a guy coming from the opposite direction and snatched her phone. Me being as hotheaded as ever, refuse to let that guy get away and went searching for him all around town, found him, called the police, lodge a report, case closed and Sze Mun became the heroin of the day.

The second time however, I was not there to save the day la. My aunt who stays next door was walking (more like strolling) home with a friend from a nearby bus stop. A motorcycle came up to them quietly from the back and snatched her handbag away. As if having her handbag snatched was not bad enough, that !^%@*&;!^&^! guy pushed my aunt to the ground leaving her knees, elbow and palms badly wounded!! AAARGH what in the freaking world is wrong with these people??!!!

Fine, sad stories aside. Its friday =D And Glitz audition was on this afterrnoon. Rushed to go root for a few friends after class. Garrett did ok despite the whole nerve wreck but hell yea, Tifff said she would like someone like you in the finals. You should be happy. Cheer up!! It was just a tiny bit out of tune, no big deal. Jess and Erni was awesome as usual. Had dinner with Garrett and Joachim, lepaked at Maju, the place where all the prefects used to go lepak after school, miss that place. And our good Lord had to let me bump into whacky head Subi. Can Friday the 13th get any better? I love weeekends =D

Angry hippos

Ok. So how exactly did my detoxing week went? Err...hehe don't ask. Me being me, can't stay away from soft drinks and chocolates for more than a day. So yea, it obviously didn't work despite Garrett yelling at me everyday, "coke again ar?!!". My addiction for coke is back, not good i know, working on it before it worsens. The last time I was addicted to coke was when we were all studying like major geeks for spm. And one fine day i finally decided that its time to stop depending on coke to keep me awake and refraining from drinking coke is just as hard as smokers trying to quit. I seriously do not wanna get myself into that sort of trouble anymore, I'll just go for yoghurt drinks instead hehe.

Mid-term results for advertising and business communication class was out last week. I did ok, so far, I'm pretty happy with the marks. Need to work harder for finals considering the amount of smart asses in classes. And not forgetting the two major presentations due in two weeks time which will decide if I'll be getting an A. Went shopping yesterday for more black clothes coz its like a rule in Limkokwing that u have to dress in black for presentations, they are THAT serious about it. Manage to squeeze in 2 hours to watch devil wears prada. You are probably sick of hearing that the book is so much better, so Im not gonna say that again hehe, but yea its true. We had a good laugh watching it though. Actually we were the only ones laughing in the cinema. Don't ask why.

I pontenged choir practise last week, so thought I'd be good this week and drag myself out of bed this morning and go for choir. Not reluctantly, mind you but I would certainly appreciate a few extra hours of sleep. But choir was fun as usual, so yea I'm not complaning. So Erni told us she was gonna go try out for Glitz this year (Glitz: a MAJOR annual 'talent-thingie' event in Limkokwing with celebs attending and sponsors giving out cold hard cash for prizes) so naturally, Garrett being as kiasu as ever came up with a brilliant idea: he's going for Glitz too *yawn*. Kidding la, dude. Honestly, with his voice, he should be able to make it at least to the finals. We'll be rooting for you!! And if u win, *ehem* you know what I want for birthday yea.
ps: Garrett is a Josh Groban sound-alike music prodigy =p

OF COCONUT TREES AND PAPAYA
-Not making any sense? I know. Blame it on the sugar high-

OK. Time for a little update after a very loooong week before someone knocks me on the head telling me how un-updated my blog is. This is a chaotic week, a little disorganised, prolly coz good lil' zee has been procrastinating again.

This is the so-called "second submission week" of the semester, so there was an assignment pile-up. There was one essay on writing skills and a follow-up presentation, a book report, a web prototype submission and a rationale of design write-up. So yea, now that half of that is done, i can go get a good night sleep tonight. And I'm free from classes tomorrow which means i can the whole of tomorrow sleeping *grin*.

My body is literally yelling at me for the amount of torture it has been through for the past few days. So there was submission week and there was also a shoot. A shorter, much smaller production compared to Sumolah! This one was give the title "Blue Black". Its part of an assignment for a final-year student actually. Its a short horror film staring *ahem* me and Garrett. Have a guess on who's the ghost. Yea, I make a really crappy ghost, if you were wondering. But heck, we had a lot of fun throughout the shoot and I learnt lesson #2 on movie making: its a 9 to 5 job; 5 in the morning that is.

There was major lack of sleep and I ended up stuffing myself with sugar and caffeine. Toxicated me. Therefore I declare next week a detoxing week. No, no. I'm not talking about pure vege and fruits here. I won't survive. I'm talking bout more h20, green tea and no coke for a week. I'm hopeless when it comes to detox.

I can finally heave a sigh of relief

Uni life has been busy or at least I've been keeping myself busy. Submission week is over *I can hear Garrett saying No, it's not!!* but it doesn't mean we will be free for the rest of the semester. Instead of the plain boring essays, group presentation, projects and essays will be coming up next along with mid-term test. More headaches and sleepless, head cracking nights. But it is at times like these, you know who your real friends are. And I am glad to say I have a real bunch of friends. Friends who stayed up with me till late at night, and sometimes even early in the morning to finish up assignments. And even kept me awake with smses. Friends who woke me up for morning classes and cheered me up on gloomy mornings. And friends who had to bear with my tantrums throwing. Despite you guys "bullying" me all the time, I must admit you guys are err great. Yea u heard me right. Me love u guys.. and girl =)

Whenever You Remember
Carrie Underwood

When you look back on times we had
I hope you smile
And know that through the good and through the bad I
was on your side when nobody could hold us down
We claimed the brightest star
And we, we came so far
And no they won't forget

Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believe that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together
Whenever you remember

When you think back on all we've done
I hope you're proud
When you look back and see how far we've come
It was our time to shine
And nobody could hold us down
They thought they'd see us fall
But we, we stood so tall
And no we won't forget

Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believe that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together
Whenever you remember

We claimed the brightest star
And we, we came so far
And know that we showed them all
And no they won't forget

Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believe that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together

Shooting ended at 2 this morning. Been running to class for lectures in between the long waiting hours. Lotsa deadlines to meet. TIRED!! But it was mighty fun. Check out the pics.

WEEK ONE

of orientation is over and the second week has been good so far. Been attending class and participating in orientation at the same time. Second week of orientation are mostly talks and workshops. There were talks by the International House on learning mandarin, introduction session by the Film and Television team, DJ workshop and there will be a trip and a tour to end the orientation. I'm proud to say i made it through two weeks without a scratch =D

Things that I've learn from the orientation:
I'm really good at the scissors, paper, rock game

Things that you should know about LUCT:
Air Cond is FOC
Hall of Fame should be called Hall of Freeze instead
Ambassadors are only visible during orientation
You will be talking like you are in the middle of a rock concert everyday

Made some friends. Very different from Adah, Gery and the gang but equally fun people from all around Malaysia.
Rachel (footie fanatic),
*Joachim (geeky, gay graphics guy)
Kalai (big fan of the Proton showroom)
Geik Chu (the very quiet one)
Angelyn (tiny & whacky)
Nicole
Garrett (the music prodigy)
Wing (the game designer)
Chrystin, Faidah and Jess.
Theres a longer list, but these are the close ones i guess.
* We made up the part about him being gay for some reason. He's perfectly normal.

Modules for this semester: Wrtting Skills for Communicators, Business Communication Skills, Intro to Advertising, Media & Society and Intro to Web Tech. Sound very cool don't they? Can't wait for classes to start.

Haven't been calling friends for a long time. You guys know who you are, miss you guys loads. And Chris, sorry, been neglecting you.
Love u all.
To be Continued

TO MY SURPRISE

I was greeted by tv cameras on my first day in LUCT and it feels as if I boarded a wrong bus and ended up in some foreign country. I was surrounded by people from so many different countries and they were speaking in some language that I've never heard of. CULTURE SHOCK!! Seriously. Among the 1,800 students this intake, 60% of them are not local and they come from 40 different countries.
The first day was hell. I was looking around hoping so hard to find a familiar face. And since I didn't see anyone I know, I had no choice but to talk to the first person I bump into. Thankfully she's local and she understands english. By the end of the day 1, we were “forced” to adapt to the LUCT culture which is to PLAY HARD.
It's only my second day of uni life today and I'm already feeling all worn-out. The 4 hours bus trip everyday, plus the motion sickness especially when the sun is blazing hot can really kill. Well, guess I've got to get use to it. And to learn to ignore all the cameras. There're just too many to avoid. I hope I'll still be alive by the end of my two week orientation.

MY BLOG IS...

falling apart. Yes I know I haven't been updating. Been busy mapling. Err. Yes, mapling. Its an online MMRPG (Massive Multiplayer Role Playing Game) called Maple Story. Sound familiar now? Some people ask how can I stand such a boring game. Well, thats only because u haven't meet the right people to play it with. It's a good place to meet new friends and to kill time (for people who are still rotting at home like me).
Few weeks back, I went on a short trip with a Adah, Gery and Surin to the National Stud Farm in Perak. Adah's dad manages the farm, so we got free accommodation IN the farm (not in the barn with the horses!). Tried to get the rest of the gang to come but they were all busy with work, driving lessons, etc, etc. So the 4 of us went and stayed for 5 days in the farm and it was mighty fun. Yes, we did pat and feed the horses. Since Gery's really into being a vet, we met the 'horse doctors' for a short chat and went for tours round the farm. It was HUGE and initially we were planning to walk all the way round the farm, but gave up after a few kilometres. We saved a horse from bleeding to death..err ok a lil exaggerated. The horse was actually suffering from a maggot infested wound on its hoof, bleeding quite badly and was obviously in pain. Celebrated Adah's birthday there as well with a barbeque. We did a lot of late-night-chitchatting and fishing, and by the day we leave, we were all fishing experts. It was a short trip but a very memorable one. Glad we had a trip before all of us leave for uni. And Perak's food is still good!!

Last picture taken before my camera ran out of battery.

Attended speech day on saturday. Since both Surin and I were the only ones representing our class, i was expecting to see more of the form 5s. But sadly, only few that i know turned up. The GoH was YM Tunku Datin Sri Marsilla (those of you who went huh? She's the wife of Datuk Hishammuddin). Was suppose to stay for the concert (a teacher told me 5T's drama was really good) but had to leave coz Surin's mom was waiting already. Wonder when I'll be going back CBN again.

If tomorrow starts without me

IF TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT ME

If tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind;
All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eyeFor all my life,
I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you,
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you,
And when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity, And all I've promised you."
Today your life on earth is past,
But here life starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way,
There's no longing for the past.
You have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven,
And now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand,
And share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

WHICH EVIL NARUTO CHARACTER AM I?

Gaara the Metal Worker
"You're not very stable up there and you're quite a psychopath. But you weren't always like that. Long ago, you innocently searched for love but people feared you as you could not control the power in you. You lost all hopes of receiving love when even your most precious person tried to assasinate you... Now living only for yourself, you are Gaara of the Sand. Oh yea, your best friend is probably a gourd. In real life you have a great affinity with sand and metal. You love the beach and loved playing with sand since young. You like building sand castles at the beach and most possibily you might be a gourd maker when you retire. You are also likely to be in the construction industry or you will be involve with metal works. Likely occupations:
Metal worker, Construction related, Gourd maker."

WTH! I'm a psycopath and my best friend is probably a gourd? Crap! And what's with metal worker and gourd maker? This thing really made me laugh my head off. Oh well, it's Ok though, Gaara is actually kinda cool. Love that thing on his forehead. I'm still not a psychopath!

I LIKE MY JOB BUT...

...but having a day off from work is so much more fun.(I'm sorry Sin Lin but you've really gotta agree with me) Woke up really early this morning to accompany my grandma to the hospital for a check-up. Just a routine thingie and she's doing really well.
And spent the rest of the day with Chris and his cousin, Gregory from Malacca. Went room hunting for Gregory coz he'll be going to UTAR and good thing we found this apartment round SS17 which is really near to UTAR.
So we met up with this Uncle Ooi. He owns 40 lots in that apartment and it's all being rented to students and the room Gregory got was the last one available (lucky him). And it was actually quite a nice room.
So after checking out Greg's room we went over to this Uncle Ooi's house. And least did we expect to see what we saw. His house was full of decoration, vases, lotsa porcelain teapots and cute tiny lil cups. He later told us that all those stuffs that we were looking at are antiques, way back from the 18th century. So chris was like "oh well, they can't be real". And guess what? He was wrong, for once. These pieces were featured in books and Uncle Ooi got them from auctions. He showed us a few really cool ones and its unbelivable how smart chinese people were back then. Each piece has a story of its own to tell and the work of art...amazing. Really fine details that you can only see using a magnifying glass. There is no way anybody will be able to forge the details.
And we found out that he spent 4.5 million bucks (RM) which is almost 90 million RMB on a vase and that vase was actually sitting right there in his house. Is that guy insane or what? Anyway, I had so much fun looking at those stuffs. I mean, you will never be able to fiddle around with antiques like that everywhere. And my favourite was this vase. From the outside, it looked just like an ordinary vase. White with simple carvings of flowers on the outside. But Uncle Ooi told us to look INTO the vase under the light. There were drawings telling a story in the vase! How did the drawings get into a vase that narrow? Nobody knows.
And after the whole discovering antique session we went for lunch and spent the whole evening swimming. And then dinner. Went home feeling extremely tired. Will be having another day off tomorrow. We'll be going shopping! Sorry Sin Lin, but your cake has got to wait =p

I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS TIRED MY WHOLE LIFE

Seriously, I've never work so hard or feel so tired my whole entire life. My 7 hours shift was spent on rushing to and fro Isetan and our shop on the concourse level preparing for the launching of the new season tomorrow. And in conjuction with that, there'll be a fashion show. We manage to get models from Elite (I can see somebody drooling already). This friday, 6 p.m. concourse level. Be there!
*Yawn*
I'm seeing stars already. I really need to go to bed.

HE LEFT....

Had a 9 hours shift today. Was quite fun actually without David (the idiotic manager) around. Business was not bad. Mostly tourists. Hate the ones that from China. They come and turn the shop upside down, and leave. The last two hours was spent on chit-chatting with Enfy and Izan (the soon-to-be supervisor) . Izan is new, taking over from Ryan (the current supervisor). She told us a whole bunch of stories (which i wish she hadn't) and scare the freaking hell out of poor Enfy. And I had to tag along wherever she went after that.
Tomorrow should be another fun, fun day. At least Sin Lin (my chat kaki) will be back.
But for now i got to go bed *yawn*. Nitey.

Life has been...

LIFE HAS BEEN...

...good. Well, not too good actually. Been really bored. Am still working. For U2 in KLCC, so please drop by to say hi. Not as much fun. Working in the bank was way better. At least I didn't have to stand for 8 hours everyday. Miss my friends, miss him.
Need a place to dispose all the unhealthy junk in my head. That's the purpose of this bloggie. And for all you peeps whom I haven't been contacting much. Drop by and see if I've been up to anything naughty.
He's been stressful. Medical school. Can't help it. The temper, gosh. No good. Its contagious. All the best. It'll be over really soon, you'll be okie dokie. I'll be okie dokie too.
Work place. No good. Manager sux. Glad its his last day today. Not everything is bad. People there are pretty nice. So I guess its not so bad. And MK, you were suppose to come visit, EVERYDAY!
Had an 8 hours shift today. Ended at 10p.m. And an early shift at 9.30a.m. tomorrow. How very smart of my manager.
I just want time to fly *wheeeeeee* so I can go back to being a student, for real this time.
