5 final projects and 3 finals to go before the semester come to an end and we can all have a merry christmas and I'll be a year older *pout*
Despite the workload, this is the best semester yet. I like what I'm doing, and believe it, I actually like the stress. I've been working my butt off the past 4 months, I'd be content with another 3.9.
Its been a fulfilling semester, with the best and most experienced lecturer literally throwing up on us. Lecturers like these don't come along very often. Not your everyday 'text-book-powerpoint-slides lecturers' and you leave the class knowing that you've learnt something that didn't come from books- you learn to surve a dog-eat-dog industry.
Assignments were experimental, outrageous and offbeat. Don't bother looking in books for formulas coz you won't find any. At the end of it all, you will find a side of yourself you never knew existed. When you're (very, very) desperate for ideas, you will start talking to yourself and don't be surprised to find your subconscious talking back to you. Spooky but me likey. It's amazing what your brains can do at 4 a.m.
The thought of next semester wipes the smile off my face. I'm enjoying the remanining of the semester being a madcap.

My tragic little tale.
Its been pouring for the past 24 hours (well, almost) since I got back from my supposed mid-semester holiday which was spent mostly in front of the idiot box. It amuses me how anyone can possibly enjoy the holidays knowing full well that assignments are already knocking on your front door. To add to that, a classmate by the name of Win continuously buzz you on the fone reminding and asking bout assignments while you're suppose to be err holiday-ing. I attempted to complete at least one final project in the midst of all the open houses and I failed, miserably.
My feet were burning with blisters and my voice gave up on me after my 2 working days. The cause: the few thousand people from nowhere who have decided that they should all visit Aquaria on the same day. Out of desperation, my mum got me some herbal pills which I took for the next couple of days.
Back at home, my cousin decides to stayover and my aunt from Spore will be arriving. How come noone told me anything??!! Gave up the comfort of my own room and camped with my grandma instead.
And then, there were the jirans that came to tell us that they'll be away to balik kampung and the ask to tengok-tengokkan their house. Oh yeah, I can do that, easy peasy. The next morning when I got up, one of the jiran had their shoes all stolen!! Heh for awhile it was actually kinda funny until I saw my jiran coming back, I kinda felt bad coz we obviously make one hell of a crappy jiran. Nevertheless, we were invited to their open house. And few other open houses so you can imagine me stuffing myself with food...not very attractive heh.
Not to mention the shopping spree...well it wasn't really a spree, but I can already feel a hole in the pocket thanks to an inconsiderate shopaholic cousin.
Good things always come to an end, but never the bad ones. Some allergic reaction to godknowswhat turned me into a feverish red eyed monster and I was glued to the bed for 2 days. If you're one of those who didn't get a proper reply frm me...now you know why.
That was how I spent my holidays...in case you wanted to know. Now i got to get back to my work *snort*

Geekyness
Its been all assignments for the weekened I turned into a full fledged geek.
Glasses, bloodshot eyes, ponytail, pyjamas all day...you don't wanna see me in that.
You won't love me anymore ><" Presentation tomorrow will tell if its all worth the effort.
I can't believe Win is skipping my presentation. How could you?? Ish!
Got some books from Paylessbooks the other day coz mph was too far away also coz there was a 'hard cover fiction' sales when I was suppose to be shopping for some presentation materials.
Money spent on unplanned purchases.
Guilt kicks in. Uh oh.
Then someone called. Adam; bearer of good news. Whenever he calls, he bring good news. Its either a job opportunity or my paycheck is waiting. Talk about good timing. I'll be working on raya!! Can you believe it? I'm getting extra pay! Woo-hoo!!
